Coastal Hospitality Group (CHG) is a privately held, fully integrated, entrepreneurial real estate and hotel management company that develops, acquires and operates hospitality assets throughout southern California. Meet the Team



As CEO,  Jed focuses most of his time sourcing new acquisition, management and development deals, along with meeting with new investors, lenders and industry experts.  Jed also oversees the management team responsible for each property's performance, ensuring properties are outperforming in their markets.  Prior to forming Coastal Hospitality Group, Jed worked in acquisition and development roles, specializing in self storage, land subdivisions and commercial mixed-use properties.  Jed holds an active real estate license in California and Arizona and has been a member of the Urband Land Insititute since 2004.


Operation Manager

As Operation Manager, Tony is responsible for overseeing and supporting the onsite Property Managers to ensure a smooth operation at the property level.  In addition, Tony oversees our central reservation and call center, where rates and inventory are constantly updated based on demand, and all phone calls, emails, and reservations are received and processed.  Tony holds an active California real estate license and is a Young Leader member at the Urban Land Institute.


Executive Assistant

As Executive Assistant, Alex manages our corporate office and assists the CEO, Operations Manager and Reservation Manager in daily tasks, ranging from research, reporting, book keeping, marketing and various administrative tasks.  In addition, she handles HR coordination with our payroll company and keeps us compliant with labor departments and all government agencies.


Quality Control Manager

As Quality Control Manager, Kate visits each property on a regular basis and focuses on maintaining the quaintness and charm of each hotel.  Recognizing that the Property Managers are busy managing their teams and offering customer service to our in-house guests, Kates able to offer assistance to ensure the flowers are fresh, the decor is updated and the overall comfort is delivered.
