Jed Tarr is the founder and CEO of Coastal Hospitality Group. Originally from a small ski town in southern Vermont, Jed attended Arizona State University and began his career working for a prominent land developer in the Phoenix area. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he gained experience with a self-storage development company and a multifamily and mixed-use real estate developer.

In 2012, Jed acquired his first beach motel in coastal Orange County, California, which he renovated and successfully repositioned, doubling its revenue. Since then, he has expanded the Coastal portfolio nationwide, with hospitality assets across California, Florida, North Carolina, and New York.

Under his leadership, Coastal Hospitality Group has become known for transforming underperforming properties into thriving boutique destinations that blend design, technology, and operational efficiency.
